On the 7th May 2025 we onboarded schools that had been accepted into our program.
We were very excited to meet everyone and get a sense of who would be attending our one-day workshop.
During this one-hour online session we covered a range of topics including:
- The benefits of sustainability action in schools
- How our MSYB program works
- The objectives and outcomes of MSYB
- How to get ready for the workshop
All participants were asked to fill out a pre-session survey about their own knowledge and level of skills in issues of sustainability.
One member from each school was also asked to fill out a survey about their school’s sustainability journey and related activities.
The objective was to understand who are participants were and the level of activity of each school so we could tailor our one-day workshop to their needs. This proved invaluable in our program development.
All participants were also asked to undertake some pre-work homework so that we could jump right into climate risk assessment and action planning during the workshop.
