Tomorrow’s Leaders for Sustainability Inc. – now known as Leaders for Sustainability (to highlight the urgency in our mission), is an incorporated community organisation with a big vision.
Pat Armstrong
Pat has worked in environmental education and education for sustainability for over thirty years, actively involved in the development and implementation of internationally recognised sustainability education programs that provide long-term change and triple bottom line outcomes. These programs have included Waste Wise Schools, Sustainable Schools and Sustainable Communities for local governments.
Other sustainability education projects in which she has been involved include: designing and project managing the construction of displays; writing educational materials and project managing education kits; developing and facilitating professional development of teachers and educators; and strategic planning consultancy with local governments.
Pat recently completed a PHD in Youth Leadership for Sustainability from RMIT.
Jane Stewart
Jane Stewart has worked in sustainability education for over twenty years developing interactive edutainment resources around the world for teachers and their students. Her programs became the standard in classrooms in Australia, the UK and the USA. Jane even secured support from the White House team in Washington to deliver her programs to schools across the USA.
Jane has also developed a business management program around a unique approach called adaptive sustainability. This helps business managers and their staff operate their operations in responsible and innovative ways in these times of dynamic change.
