This program has been developed so that educators can deliver it to their students. All resources are aligned to Australian curriculum and deliver practical outcomes in schools.

LEADING THE WAY – STUDENT FORUM

Over 70 secondary students and their teachers from seven schools in country Victoria and Melbourne attended our three day forum. Many came not knowing what to expect or what was in store for them during this sustainability event.

Yet all participants left with a deeper understanding of water issues facing the Wimmera region and a greater appreciation for those who manage their daily activities in these times of a changing climate. All students made a commitment to take personal action in their homes, schools and communities and many left with promises to stay in touch with new friends.

SUSTAINABILITY LEADERS – STUDENT FORUM

This Youth Forum gave primary kids the opportunity to discuss, debate and negotiate issues of local significance. Students shared sustainability related projects in their school and then came together in teams to to undertake a range of activities to learn about sustainability and leadership concepts. Team Groups presented their projects and then made a commitment to take action at home, school and community.
